However, we were pretty surprised to find that the maximum bet is so low; you can only stake up to 3 credits per spin, which equates to just $3! This is very low – and is likely to turn away high rollers.

In terms of graphics and sound effects, Fruit Mania has a classic and straightforward design that stays true to its fruit theme. The game’s symbols are colourful and vibrant, while the sound effects are reminiscent of traditional slot machines. It’s not the most exciting-looking game in the world, but if you want a classic fruit machine video slot, it’s worth checking out.

Fruit Mania features various symbols, including classic fruit symbols of cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, and watermelons. The game also features the lucky seven symbol, which is the highest-paying symbol in the game. When five lucky seven symbols land on an active payline, you will win a payout of 1,000X your bet. 

There is no wild symbol, and wins can only be formed from left to right – so aside from base game 3-of-a-kind, 4-of-a-kind, and 5-of-a-kind combos, there’s not much to get excited about, in our opinion.

In terms of volatility, the video slot is classified by Gamomat as being a medium-variance game. What this means is that wins tend to land quite often – and when they do, they’re usually worth a fair bit. Fruit Mania does not contain any bonuses and features – unfortunately. Given the classic, retro design of the video slot, this is unsurprising. However, we’d like to see just a wild symbol on the reels – ANYTHING – to make the gameplay slightly more interesting.

Like most Gamomat video slots, Fruit Mania does, however, have two gambling features. The first gamble feature available is the Card Gamble feature, which allows players to bet on the colour of the next card drawn from a deck. If the drawn card’s colour matches the one you picked, your winnings will be doubled. However, if you guess incorrectly and the colours don’t, you’ll lose your entire win.

The Ladder Gamble is the second bonus, allowing you to climb a cash ladder and aim for bigger prizes. The ladder has highlighted steps, and you need to work your way up these steps one at a time. Simply hit a button – and if you win, you move up one notch. A loss will result in you moving down the ladder. This feature adds an extra layer of excitement and risk to the game, allowing players to potentially increase their winnings even further.
