Game Features

The standard icons in this title consist of a pack of playing cards, a pair of boots, a cowboy hat, and two guns.

Premiums are more traditional, however, shown as a single BAR, double BAR, and triple BAR icons, followed by diamond sevens. If five of these appear along the same payline, players will be awarded with 10x, 12.5x, 17.5x, or 30x their stake size.

BAR symbols can also form mixed combinations, while diamond sevens only require two matching icons to form a combination.

Moving on to the special symbols, there is a wild, shown as a golden w. Like in other casino slots online, wild icons can be used interchangeably with any of the standard or premium symbols mentioned above. Next up are the scatter icons, of which there are three variations. These consist of a horseshoe, a sheriff’s badge, and a wrangler, with the functions of all being explained below. The first bonus feature in Western Gold 2 is the cash barrel feature that can activate if four or more horseshoe scatter icons appear during the same spin. Should this happen, players will be awarded with 1x, 5x, 15x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 1,000x, or 10,000x their stake size, depending on whether 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 are on the board.

If the wrangler icon appears on reels 1 and 5 during the same spin, the cash barrel will be spun, and a random value will be awarded.  Now, should three scatter icons appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 simultaneously, the free spins mode will trigger.

Players will start this round with three spins that will reset if a horseshoe scatter or horse icon appears on the board. The cash barrel feature throughout this mode is progressive, meaning that all scatters are accumulated, and the corresponding potential winnings are awarded when no more spins remain.

During the free spins mode, should the horse icon appear on reel 5, the feature barrel will activate and award one of 5 different outcomes. These include +1 being added to the reset value for spins, upgraded cash barrel values, or the current cash value being awarded to the player. In addition to this, +1 can be added to the win multiplier, which starts at 1x, or the round can be upgraded to the super variant!

So what sets the super free spins mode apart from the standard bonus? Well, after each spin, the current barrel value is awarded to the player. This applies regardless of how many times the spins are reset.
