Game Features

Before we discuss the various symbols and features in the Burning Hot slot, it’s important to note that the potential winnings are calculated on a bet per line basis. As there are 5 fixed paylines in this release, the total bet must first be divided by five before being multiplied by the values associated with each combination.

Now, the standard symbols in this title are shown as cherries, lemons, plums, and oranges, all of which have been synonymous with traditional online slots.

Premiums are classics, too, consisting of a bell, a slice of watermelon, a bunch of grapes, and a red seven. These can award players with up to 200x, 500x, 500x, or 3,000x their bet per line, in that order.

Special symbols include WILDS that can appear exclusively on reels 2, 3, and 4. They can replace any of the aforementioned symbols to form a matching combination, while also having the potential to expand to cover a reel. Burning Hot also comes with two scatter icons, a star, and a dollar sign, both of which ignore paylines completely.

The four progressive jackpots at the top of the screen are linked to the ‘Jackpot Cards’ feature. This round can be triggered randomly on any spin, regardless of the stake size. If it does, players will be taken to a screen with 12 different face-down cards, before being prompted to select them at random. Once three cards of the same suit have been chosen, the corresponding potential winnings will be awarded, and players will return to the base game. It’s also worth mentioning that all four of these jackpots are progressive!

Finally, Burning Hot comes with a simple gamble mechanic. Players can choose to wager their potential winnings in order to guess the colour of a face-down playing card. A correct guess will double the potential winnings, while an incorrect guess will see them returning to the base game empty-handed. The gamble mechanic can only be used once, regardless of the outcome.
