There are 30 paylines in total, although Tennis Champions is a win-both-ways game. This means winning combos are made from left to right and right to left.

The female tennis player represents the wild symbol, and it’s a paying wild – meaning a 5-of-a-kind combo will award you a whopping 1,000X your stake! It substitutes for the other game’s symbols besides the scatter symbols.

Game Features

Following on from the game’s symbols, the scatter is represented by the tennis ball. In addition to the tennis ball, you will also see the text “SCATTER” overlaid on top. These are paying scatter symbols – so landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view will award you a cash payout.

Landing three tennis ball scatter symbols will award you a payout worth 2X your bet while landing four will award you a payout of 10X. If you manage to land all five scatter symbols in view, you’ll be awarded a cash prize worth 250X your total stake – which is actually pretty decent!

Unfortunately, despite the modern look and feel, Tennis Champions has no bonuses or features. We find this quite strange – and it’s a shame, in our opinion – as a nice free spins round or “pick me bonus” feature would make the game near perfect enough.

That being said, the base game is quite exciting – and it’s all about hitting a 5-of-a-kind combo of the wilds, as that’s where the real win potential is found!
