Crazy Tooth Goes Buzzing with the Bubble Beez Slot
Chris Grand |Bees are among the most important insects on Earth. Despite disappearing colonies, the world still doesn’t understand how important they are for our ecosystem.
Crazy Tooth Studio aims to change that with Bubble Beez, a busy hive of a slot that can deliver wins as sweet as honey.
Using the Pay Anywhere system, it’s yet another slot in Crazy Tooth’s portfolio that does things differently. It’s not as innovative a system as Big BuildUp, but it still pays nice.
The slot’s medium variance means you’re in for frequent wins. The hexagonal grid makes it clear it’s all about the bees in this one, and the buzzing features are more than enough to warrant a spin or two.
Tumble Reelz and Honey Bees
The first thing you’ll notice about this apiary of a slot is the hexagonal grid. These bees don’t produce honey, though. But, they do produce truly sweet cash prizes. Despite the fact that it’s not a Megaways release, tumble sequences are right in the thick of it. Each win triggers one, and they keep going on until there are winning symbols on the grid.
At the same time, multipliers and modifiers can prolong that sequence. It’s all thanks to the adjacent pays system which more or less works like a cluster pays engine. Wins are formed for 3 or more adjacent symbols on the grid, so you don’t need them to be on a payline.
All winning symbols are also collected. Once you have enough, they will trigger the Queen Bee feature. All winning symbols are framed by the Queen Overlay frame. You need at least 3 of these to trigger one of the top modifiers, which can prolong and improve your winning streak. Those modifiers are:
- Symbol transformations
- Symbol removals
- Triangles of symbols turned into a matching one
It’s not hard to spot them, as the edges of the grid around them lights up. The queen bee feature continues as long as you win, and any modifier resets on losing spins.
Bee Boosts and Honey-Sweet Prizes
After the second tumble, you will benefit from the bee boost feature. The multiplier grows in accordance to the number of successful tumbles. It’s capped at x5, but that’s more than enough for a buzzing winning potential. On losing rounds, you may get the buzz bomb symbol that removes certain symbols from the grid. All queen bee and honey prizes are then collected, which triggers a potentially winning tumble.
The honey prize feature is active on 5 or more collected honey prize overlay symbols. In it, the multiplier can vary between x4 and x123, and only resets if you hit the highest buzzing prize.
