Game Features

Before touching on the different icons, it’s essential to know that no fixed paylines are present in Gigantoonz. Instead, there is a cluster pays mechanic, with 6 of the same icons in adjacent positions forming a combination.

Now, the standard symbols in this release are shown as 5 Toonz with minimal detailing. These are shown as the colours yellow, green, red, purple, and blue. Premiums look similar but appear to be in a higher resolution due to the added characteristics.

Again, they are represented by colours, with the blue, orange, green, purple, and red variations awarding up to 50x, 100x, 200x, 400x, or 1,250x the stake size, in that order. There is also one special symbol, a quantum wild, displayed as an orb, which can replace any of the aforementioned icons as part of a combination.

Gigantoonz comes with a modifier that can trigger during a spin that does not form a matching cluster. Should it activate, anywhere from 5 to 10 different wild icons will be added across the board in random positions.

Mega symbols that are 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 may drop into view when spinning this title. They only count as one symbol in terms of forming a cluster; however, during the evaluation of potential winnings, they can represent up to 13 different icons.

If mega symbols are removed as part of a cluster, they will leave behind a wild. Furthermore, if there is no space below the giant icon to drop into, the positions will be filled with smaller, 1×1 variations.

As for the main bonus, it’s split into four different features that revolve around the meter shown below the sleeping Gargantoon on the right of the board. Whenever a matching cluster is formed, the corresponding number of symbols will be added as ‘charges’, with modifiers being applied at 25, 50, 75, and 100 charges. These charges must all occur during the same spin, as the meter will be reset between plays.

If 25 charges accumulate, the ‘Disintegration‘ modifier will remove all instances of 4 random symbols. With 50 charges on the meter, the ‘Metamorphosis‘ feature will turn all variations of one symbol into another. The ‘Radiation‘ mechanic at 75 charges will add 1, 2, 3, or 4 mega symbols to the board alongside 2, 3, 4, or 5 wilds.

Should players collect all 100 charges, all mega icons in play will transform into Gargantoonz, with a minimum of three being guaranteed. These do not cascade like standard symbols. In addition to this, 2, 3, or 4 regular-sized Gargantoonz will appear on the reels.

After this phase of the feature is complete, all mega Gargantoonz will break down into 1×1 sized icons. Matching clusters will then be calculated before any potential winnings are awarded to the player.
